Muratsuchi Loses Control, Shouts at Frustrated Gardena Resident

This is Al Muratsuchi when he actually has to answer for his bad leadership in Sacramento.

He did next to nothing to stop the massive construction coming down on the state of California. SB 9 and SB 10 were both terrible bills forced through the state legislature by corrupt politicians in the pockets of real estate and building interests. State Senator Scott Weiner was the key driver of these bills, dismissing the needs of cities, quality of life issues, and the will of the voters.

But that's all that Al Muratsuchi did.

He just complained about the bills, voted No, then went back to his cushy life in Rolling Hills Estates.

But for the rest of us little people, who are struggling to get by, housing has become increasingly expense, all while the neighborhoods are less safe, and the quality of life dramatically diminishes.

October 12, 2024, Asm. Muratsuchi hosted a town hall in Gardena. This city is one of the most Democratic sections of his current district, which stretches from El Segundo down to the Palos Verdes Peninsula and touches San Pedro.

The residents showed up in full force, outraged by a planned multi-housing project in El Camino Village. This section of LA County is a nice, welcoming bedroom community, adjacent to the local community college.

Al did not provide answers, and he made excuses. One resident, featured in the above video, confronted him boldly. Instead of accepting Muratuschi's excuses, he demanded answers. "You are our representative, and it's your responsibility to do something about this!"

At one point, he raised his voice and ordered him to "sit down!"

Abusive and arrogant, to say the least!

He doesn't like taking orders from his constituents, for some reason. He doesn't want to help them. He just wants to run and cover.

Frankly, I think that he cannot speak out against the development in El Camino Village because the big Democratic donors would go after him. LA County Supervisor Holly Mitchell is all in on the housing, the property tax money, and the demographic changes that she wants to force into the region. Muratsuchi can't step out of line and making the liberal big money interests mad!

The gentleman was right to confront Al Muratsuchi about the housing issues in El Camino Village. I am glad that more people are finally speaking up and shouting their representatives, demanding answers and solutions to the growing quality of life issues in California.
